We are thrilled to have been appointed the wine sponsor and official wine for the Mullumbimby Music Festival, 22-25 November 2012. The Mullum Music Festival is a fantastic, grassroots and community based music festival taking place in the delightful Byron Bay hinterland town of Mullumbimby.
Sam and Simone Statham, family and friends are looking forward to being part of the action with a Rosnay tasting table at the Civic Hall. As part of the sponsorship Rosnay has obtained limited free festival tickets, which will be drawn through the many small independent liquor outlets that stock Rosnay wine in the Northern Rivers region.

When times are tough, go out with The Dining Table
Our newest supporters are the team from 'The Dining Table'. They have fantastic dining discounts at restaurants right across the Sydney area. Yesterday we met the founder of The Dining Table, John Glynn, and are now inspired to help promote what could be a great way to refresh the restaurant trade in tough times... DINING DISCOUNTS!
John's vision is simple: “The Dining Table guarantee is to provide members with great dining at the very best value.”
Buy a card and use it as many times as you like for 12 months. Even if you only dine out once a month you’ll still save hundreds of $$$.
The best bit is that the card only costs $49 (SAVE $40), which means that you only have to dine out once or twice and it has already paid for itself.
The Dining Table Card also makes the perfect gift; it's the gift that keeps on giving - for 12 months!!
The Restaurant Gallery is updated every month with fantastic value offers, keeping it fresh exciting all year round. We love the fact that its not jammed full of fast food and other advertising.
Go to www.thediningtable.com.au to find out more about The Dining Table, or buy the card from Rosnay for $49.

Music is the wine that fills the cup of silence
Our household has always been full of music, we play music when we can, and we support musicians as much as we can. The wise words by Robert Fripp, that "Music is the wine that fills the cup of silence", are an echo of a couple of french quotes about food and wine: “Wine makes a symphony of a good meal” by Fernande Garvin, and “A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine” by Jean-Antheleme Brillat-Savarin.
Our world would be missing a dimension without music.
Driven primarily by Richard Statham's passion for it, Rosnay has been an active sponsor of music since he organised David Miller OA, Director of Ensembles from the Sydney Conservatorium, to bring his first ensemble to play a concert in Canowindra's All Saints Church during Marti's Balloon Fiesta, in 2002. David has been coming back almost every year since.
In the last decade, some of Australia's best young ensembles cut their performing teeth at Canowindra, including the Greenway String Quartet. Great local talent including Helen Barnett have also graced Canowindra's All Saints Church and have helped put Canowindra firmly on the map of the bigger ensemble tours, like the 2010 Western Strings Tour from Orange regional Conservatorium supported by Arts Out West. Some of the students who have played at Canowindra in the past have gone on to brilliant careers on the world stage. For example, Korean born (now Australian) Sarah Kim is doing post graduate organ studies in France and is organist at Notra Dame’s Chapelle Royale.

Rosnay Sponsors the Sydney Underground Film Festival
Attention film and wine lovers! The 2010 Sydney Underground Film Festival will take place from Thursday 9 September to Saturday 11 September at The Factory Theatre, Marrickville, and will be serving Rosnay wines and olives.
The festival will only program unique, quality independent films that transgress the status quo and challenge the conservative conventions of filmmaking: a perfect match with organic wine. The festival is devoted to renewing local interest in independent and experimental film as part of an international underground film culture and aims to change an engrained culture of cinematic complacency and revitalize an enthusiasm for cinema.
Sponsorship of SUFF builds on Rosnay's long term support of the Arts including the Peats Ridge Festival and Flickerfest International Film Festival, plus many artists, galleries and musicians.
Those who attended the Flickerfest screening at Rosnay in March will be glad to know that the sponsorship agreement extends to a screening of the "Best of SUFF" at the Rosnay vineyard on Friday 15 October 2010. We expect that the films will kick off at 5.30pm for music, dinner (by RSVP only) and drinks followed by films from 7.00pm. To book for dinner please call 6344 3215 before 11 October if possible.
Do you beleive there is a need for film conventions to be challenged?

Rosnay Sponsors Flickerfest 2010
It is with honour that Rosnay was invited to be the official wine supplier to Flickerfest 19th International Film Festival, alongside Coopers beer, Jameson whisky and Pheonix organic juices.
The selection of Rosnay Organic wine was part of a move by festival director Bronwyn Kidd and her team to make Flickerfest a green event, using as much organic food and beverage as possible.
For Rosnay, this is a huge opportunity for us to spread the ORGANIC word, and we are doing it through a fun trailer and a video competition called Go for the O!
Have a look now, its all happening at www.gofortheo.com.
We have some truly amazing prizes to give away, not only a grand prize of WINE FOR LIFE but also instant prizes for all entries to the comp, including double passes to Flickerfest sessions and of course, wine.
So if you love organic wine, why not pull out the vid cam and tell us all about it!?
Remember, in all things, “Go for the O!”
