We are thrilled to have been appointed the wine sponsor and official wine for the Mullumbimby Music Festival, 22-25 November 2012. The Mullum Music Festival is a fantastic, grassroots and community based music festival taking place in the delightful Byron Bay hinterland town of Mullumbimby.
Sam and Simone Statham, family and friends are looking forward to being part of the action with a Rosnay tasting table at the Civic Hall. As part of the sponsorship Rosnay has obtained limited free festival tickets, which will be drawn through the many small independent liquor outlets that stock Rosnay wine in the Northern Rivers region.

Our friends at TheTops hook the big one
Just a quick Congrats to John and Sharini whose new venture, The Tops Organic Retreat (at Barrington Tops) has just been voted in the "Top 10 'Weekends Away' Australia 2011".
The write-up in the Herald says "Its strengths as a getaway are the quiet bushland location, tasty and healthy meals, friendly atmosphere, comfortable accommodation and, this time of year, log fires." Well done guys!
Anyway, as soon as we heard this we rang tham and said, "Can you give our friends and customers a deal?" John came back with a great offer for all of us..

Go For The O - Going Strong!
With our new partners from Kaleidoscope Gallery in Danks St, Waterloo (Sydney's art hub), Rosnay's "Go for the O" art patronage has taken on a new life.
Samantha Mitchell-Finn and her friends and colleagues have nominated dozens of amazing artworks to be in the running for the "Go for the O" winner to be announced in December.
The nominations are posted to the Go for the O Blogsite and promoted through the Rosnay Facebook Page, and comments are welcome on all entries.
The winner will have their winning artwork laid up as a wine label and put onto ten cases of Rosnay wine, in time for Christmas! The runners up with be offered a place in a special "collector's dozen" to be bottled in 2012, with a different artwork on each bottle in the dozen, and offered exclusively to the participating artists and their friends.

Celebrate Life with our Bubbly Beauties

Just like the 2009 VC, its made not only with organic and biodynamic grapes, but the "dosage" that creates the fine bead of dissolved CO2 is also made using certified organic, raw sugar.
We are convinced that making sparkling wine with chemical-free organic grapes, mineral rich organic raw sugar, no added tartaric acid, and only the absolutely minimal sulfur permitted for organic wine, is the way to avoid hangovers. Of course, enjoy in moderation.
The 2010 VC palate is elegant and refined, as a "blanc de blanc" tends to be without the bolstering effect of Pinot Noir. For those seeking a more robust palate with layers of strawberry and spice, try the 2009 Sparkling Rose, made from Shiraz (80%) and Mourverdre (20%).
The Rosnay Bubbly Beauties are now on promotion in your local stockist and are the ideal bubble for Melbourne Cup Day, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, New Years, and any other excuse you can think of to enjoy the "Now" of life to its fullest.
[PS - unfortunately you cant call our bubbly beauties "Champagne", but if you're looking for "vin petillant de qualite superieur" then Rosnay bubbles should fit the bill]

Rosnay relaunches Go for the O! Competition
Its been a couple of months since the screening of 'The Best of Australian Shorts' and the entries to the Rosnay Go for the O! video competition at Rosnay. People are still talking about that night, under a clear and still March night sky, when about 130 people enjoyed the pleasures of original and daring short films, organic food and wine, and yummy cake and coffee.
So, now that the dust has settled and harvest is over, we are ready to re-launch a new, exciting sequel to the original Video-only competition.
The "Go for the O! Creative Competitions" are now much broader in scope, including words and still images as well as video.
And this time, to spice things up to the max, there are prize winners every week!
See www.gofortheo.com for the details, and tell your arty or wine loving friends about it. and if you are subscribed to our updates, you'll see all the funniest, most original entries every month or so in your email.
