A very quick newsletter, for all of valued customers and supporters, as this is our last chance to write to you before Spring, when not only are the vines growing, but the social calendar is hotting up. We invite you to join us at some of the venues where you can experience the unique taste of Rosnay, with art, music, on its own or with great food. Its all on the calendar, on the back of this newsletter.
Right now the buds are swelling on the vines and the wattles are in full flower. The winter has been mild and mostly dry, so we hope to receive good spring rains for the advent of the 2007 Vintage. Pruning is on schedule, with the chardonnay last to go in order to delay its budburst and the risk of frost damage. The wines are developing well at the winery and in the bottle, and Rosnay was judged as one of the three most consistent entrants in this year's Australia-NZ Organic Wine Show. The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, already a double medal winner, is the latest addition to our range of reds. It will be publicly released at "Organic Visions", an art exhibition of Florence Statham and her nephew Patrick Leclerc, in Sydney this month. We have enclosed extra copies of "Organic Visions" invitations, in the hope that you an make it, or tell your Sydney friends about it. We also enclose a copy of a special booklet we have produced for the exhibition, and is a complete information source for our customers. Florence and Patrick's artworks will be exhibited from 1 October to 4 December.
Lastly, if you enjoy the occasional summer music festival, we suggest you consider camping a few days at the Peats Ridge Festival for New Years Eve with a glass of Rosnay, official wine supplier for this fantastic event. All the best for a great tasting summer.
